Thanks DJ. I've not updated the Widget, so maybe the SETI@Home folks have changed their update schedule for the public account page. Keep crunching!

Chris: Thanks for the reply/information. Not sure if you actually did make a (small?) change or not, but it seems to update faster now. Wether or not you made any changes, it works (much) better now (it seems anyway). It's still a great little widget, that I have displayed on my desktop at all times - one of the few that I leave on. When I say it appears to update faster now, when I request it to update now - it tends to do so, where as at first it wouldn't/couldn't. Thanks again Chris.

The Your Account page link is (I believe) relying on a cookie in order to determine who you are...you'll notice that your account # is not in the URL. This Widget does not have the facility for preserving and using a cookie. As I'm sure that the SETI@Home folks don't want people hitting their servers too hard I probably won't update this widget to get around that issue. However, this feature may eventually appear in the Page Scraper Widget which was borne from this one, and is… a more general tool, though harder to use because you have to figure-out the Regular Expression needed to extract the text you want. Seems the page where this widget gets its info from is slow to update as when you go to the Your Account page FROM the first account (where this widget gets its info) updates faster, so not sure if we would be able to change exactly where it gets the info from. The second page updates when ever you upload finished WU.

I like it - I like how it's small and out of the way (not taking up too much realistate). But it doesn't seem to update much - even when I hit 'update now', and knowing there WAS a change, it doesn't update?
