I like it - I like how it's small and out of the way (not taking up too much realistate). But it doesn't seem to update much - even when I hit 'update now', and knowing there WAS a change, it doesn't update?

Yes, you've found me out. I'm a programmer, not a graphics wiz. If you'd like to send me some mocks-ups with graphics that I can take a look at, maybe I can make some changes.
