I really like the way this addon organizes all my shortcuts into a neat list that I can go through eating virtually no space in my desktop. There's one thing though: once you drag your given application or web shortcut you can't alter the order it appears on the category.

That would be a feature that I would be glad to be seen implemented in a future update, as this kind of addon really needs that kind of flexibility. Other than that, thumbs up.

No matter what I do, I can't get web shortcuts to work. :\ Tried 3 different ways to make it work, including the way it's supposed to set up, and "file", using iexplore.exe. Icon comes up "missing" no matter what. This is Windows XP Pro SP2.

i tried many shortcut widgets before finding this one. This one is the best by far.Thank you!

I love this widget - it works great on my laptop at work running XP, but when I use it at home on WIN2000 it crashes everytime I try to add a shortcut. I can create a new category I just can't put anything into it.

Whenever I try to add a website to a shortcut I get a 'missing' icon and editing the shortcut the website's path looks like:

C:\Users\steve\AppData\Local\Yahoo\Widget Engine\Unzipped\Shortcut Launcher.widget\Shortcut Launcher.widget\Contents\http:\www.yahoo.com

Editing out the windows path and leaving on the website doesn't fix the problem.
