Shortcut Launcher
This Widget will allow you to organise all of your shortcuts. These can be shortcuts to an application, web site, or file. The Widget uses categories to organise the shortcuts and the user has control over these categories.

November 05, 2006 · version 1.1 Jerry PurvisPutting a .lnk file does not work, and when you put in a url, it changes the path to the location of the the widget, and adding the url at the end of the path, so it doesn't work either. You still have to go directly to the program files and use the executable file when adding shortcuts to programs, and adding a web address does not work either.

October 29, 2006 · version 1.1 CherylWidget keeps encountering errors and shutting down. When I bring it back up, all my shortcuts are gone and I have to start from scratch. It happened 3 times. I won't be trying for a 4th. I did like the interface and the ease of use, ability to categorize, icons, text or both. Very promising widget once the bugs are worked out.

October 07, 2006 · version 1.1 Bob in VTI was very happy to try this widget. Unfortunately, it crashes while I am dragging and dropping shortcuts to it and/or creating new categories. I'm running XP Pro on an old Dell Latitude C610, with 1GB Ram. It DID get me to clean up my cluttered "desktop" but isn't useful if it crashes all the time! I'll rate it once it works for me.
