This widget is great! As soon as I learned what widgets/konfabulator(today) was I searched for something which would check website status and this did the trick. I'm getting a false positive for a known webserver that's shut off and wondering if the check is just a ping. Also, I'd like to make it interpret an interactive site which requires login (as that's my eventual goal). I'd be interested in assisting develop this tool rather than build something from scratch. For now I'm off to look for this .kon file referenced above. Thanks!

Many widgets have come and gone, but this one has always been running on all my systems, since the day I discovered it. I find it incredibly useful and look forward to future versions. Keep up the good work! :-)

Please note that there appears to be an issue with Konfabulator 2.1 (XP--I haven't tested it yet on the Mac). Possible timer issue as Site Status doesn't appear to update. I'll keep you posted. Thanks, Tom
