Nope, I don't think so - once the Mac's asleep, nothing can be executed.
Unless the widget sends the computer back to sleep again - but there's no way of 'reading' what event brought it out of sleep.

Andy, any chance of adding a mouse click selection to wake it up?? I have
cats and they are always playing with my Mac's mouse, you know cats....they
won't leave it alone.

You can Command-drag it to anywhere you like on the screen :)

A useful widget that short cuts the usual menu pecking, but can the code be changed to allow it to be located anywhere on the screen?
