WORKS PERFECTLY FOR ME. There are settings in Preferences that allow you to make the station do all kinds of movements including bouncing off the edges of your screen AND rotational speed. I have taken a NASA (Hubble) shot of a barred galaxy and touched it up with extra stars and such in MS Paint and then inserted it as wallpaper, then reduced the station to 20 percent opacity so it passes around very ghostly and faintly.
OH! And why doesn't the ISS use this design? Well, the centribufal fo…rce thing doesn't work too well in reality. If you have the axial rotational point "overhead" your feet are pointing outward and only one floor would have an Earth equivalent "gravity" with the others greater or lesser and that isn't acceptable. And if you think that the floors can be at right-angles to the axial, then think again as you are slammed against the outer-most wall of each room. Again, not acceptable.

Aloha Mr. Cusack! These mamby pamby whiners should be lined up & slapped severely round da head&shoulders! This is an absolutely splendid piece of work! You should be VERY proud! Ignor all except those who love it AS IS! It's on my starfield with 'Lights', 'HAL 9000' & '2001 Satellite' widgets. Your talent is appreciated & I hope you will accept my sincere thanks for such a fabulous effect! It'll be on my computer til 3001! [Unless you find a way to add … blinkin lites & have it serve me a beer! ] Thank you very much for sharing! k-den, M1 ~ http://spaces.msn.com/members/FlynnsBeachPark/ ~ MikeOne496@msn.comMore

I have found a small bug in the widget. If I set the preference to "sttionary" and save, the widget goes stationary. However, when I reboot the computer, it starts to orbit again. The preferences still say "stationary". If I resave, it stops until I reboot again.
