Stay Updated!

A simple Widget that shows up as an exclamation mark when there are new Widgets at the Widget Gallery. It's invisible otherwise.

It's possible to let the Widget watch one other RSS feed. However, this is more of a bonus and is not really supported in this version. It doesn't work with most feeds, anyway.

No longer works!

This widget seems to no longer work with the current version of the widget website, and I can't get it to appear correctly in 4.5 (all I get is a very faint large exclamation point, trying to change the various preferences does not alter it's appearance in any way for me).

Would love to have an updated version of this widget as it has always been my primary means of telling when to come to the site to look for new widgets.

Yup, sorry Mike. Yahoo! are manually reviewing all widgets before uploading them to the gallery, which of course takes a few days. Wait until the version number changes to v1.2.1. Sorry for the confusion.

I downloaded rev 1.2 on 18-Apr, but I still get a "widget has syntax errors" message when I try to open it using Konfab 3.1.1 (build 96).

The bug is fixed now, was really simple. Expect the update to be available soon. This is just a bug fix, v1.3 is postponed to whenever I don't have work to do next time...
