Sudoku

by Andrea Arevalo

Sudoku is a popular logic-based puzzle consisting of 81 cells in a 9x9 grid made up of 3x3 sub-grids called regions. The goal is to fill in the empty cells, one number in each, so that each column, row, and region contains the numbers 1–9 exactly once.

This Widget features eight thousand of these puzzles that you can solve with your brain, Konfabulator, and a keyboard or mouse.

    Brilliant widget!

If you find it runs slowly on the Mac, make sure you are using the latest version of the Widget Engine - it usually solves the problem (OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.x, Yahoo! Widget Engine 3.1.5)

I would like to have the option to have the pencil/pen button to globally change the state of the cells because I tend to use the pencil on a few cells and then find myself using the pen for a few cells. Having this button change the state of all the cells would mean far less mouse clicks.

Kewl! I have a feature request though. The whole pencil pen thing is nice, kind of awkward. Is it possible to do something like Ctrl+Click to set that boxto the opposite of the default? So for example, my Default cell mode is pen, but if I have a box I want to use pencil in, if I use the control key and click inside of a cell, it will make that one pencil. Then later, I can click it again and change it to pen?

Thanx much for this kewl Widget!!
