Congrats on your great creation. My suggeston to further improvements are as:

1) One button should be created to select all pencil marks in one go. This is helpful for person like me who mark all number first and then click to rule out the not-possible ones.
2) Some Sound should be added to make you feel more connected.

David J and Grift, the update to the widget fixes the problems you were experiencing. Changes to the security for Web access broke the widget.

One new feature was added to allow the widget to mark obviously wrong answers with a highlight color. This applies only to marks that break the "one number per row, column, and box" rule.

All - Please enjoy the updated widget.

As to David J's suggestion to allow a reset, I will look into adding that feature to a future release.

I love that you can customize the size and color of every aspect of the puzzle, this is a very user-friendly widget in my opinion.

The BrainBasher feed seems to have quit working, but I can still choose random puzzles from the other website. I liked the BrainBasher Feed because it was easy to start over, just re-load the puzzle instead of trying to clear the board. Maybe you could add a reset feature that would clear out the marks made by the user, making it easier to restart the puzzle you are working on.

With the release of the latest version of Yahoo Widgets, this widget no longer appears to be working (at least for me) It is not updating the numbers to the new puzzle when loaded.
