Great, would be better if some other elements can be added

In my office i can't enjoy the sun and it's pretty bad. This software kind of bring the nature to my desktop. The cons is only position of the sun seems not enough, if some other elements like trees, shadows, grass, playing kids... can be added it would be awsome!

Cute little widget. I wouldn't align a telescope with it but it is a fair representative of the moon and sun's position over head. Selections for different screen types and Longitude & Latitude adjustments can help make the display close (but no cigars) to the actual positions. My wish is that it included all of the planets and their positions ( both day and night ) as well as the sun and moon. Thanks Mr. C. I like it!

Very cool widget, however if your Monitor was a map then the compas would be Up = North, Down = South, Right = East, Left = West. If you follow that then on my screen the sun comes up in the west and sets in the east... it'd be very nice if there was a setting that would allow you to swtich east and west orientation on the screen.

    Cheers.

I'm in the east and it seems that i can't get it on the desktop if i enter the positive longitude with the east option. But it works fine for positive longitude + west option. Should it be otherwise?. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've been using this widget for a few months now and I really like it.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this - I'm in Asia and there was a total eclipse yesterday around this time. I noticed that this widget was out of alignment by quite a way. However, the sun & moon are in perfect alignment right now - exactly 24 hours later. Useful info for version 2.1?
