Super Pointer

Ever been demonstrating software, a website or some such and wanted a big pointing device to guide the audience/viewer where to look, but only had a tiddly arrow?

Here it is! Super Pointer! Drag it around the screen to show people where to look.

It doesn't work with Powerpoint. Would be interested to know if it works or not with Keynote. But for all those other demos, it should be just fine.
It also can't overlap the menubar so you'll have to use traditional methods to point to it.

What is it you want to magnify? The screen? Only the area in the ring? or just the ring itself?
Synerage, Super Pointer is for showing what area of the screen to look at. I experimented with OSX zooming but it still meant I had to wave the mouse where I wanted people to look.

This is a good use of Konfabulator, I think it'll be usefull for development demos.....an easy to toggle (not via prefs) magnification mode would be a nice addition :)

Or you could turn on the Zoom Accessibility feature and use Command-Option-+ to zoom in and show an area. =P

Good widget anyway. Useful if you're using a large screen and want to keep it large.

Ok... went to test this at 640x480 and found it wouldn't display. Solution? Delete preferences file.

Certainly, if anyone finds them too big, I can develop smaller ones. Just ask!

This is my favorite widget I've developed so far. Not because it was so simple, but because it uses Konfabulator in a unique way.
