Sydney Traffic

Following on from numerous global traffic cams that have a Widget, so now does Sydney, Oz. Webcam images are provided by RTA.

[Editor's Note: You must copy the Widget from the DMG to your hard drive for it work properly]

Great work Tim,
Pity I live in Melbourne. Any chance of doing a similar widget for Melbourne? Or at least could you point me to the website from which you are getting your cam feeds so I can try and find its Melbourne equivalent.

yeah great work on this widget, i use it at work but i would like to be able to use it at home on my pc so could u please try ur best to make one for windows aswell. Thx heaps

Hi all,
Glad you like the. It does seem to have a flaw that causes it to quit after 5-10 mins. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's because the RTA web server gets snooty at your IP, but am not sure.
It isn't compiled for Windows as that wan't a feature when created. I may do an update in time which uses more stable code. I will try to compile for Windows too, but in the mean-time, Mac users can watch Windows users flowing Lemming-like onto the bridge at peak-times... ;)
