systemBlox

by Justin Pulsipher

This Widget will let you monitor nearly everything about your computer. Displays the percentages to you in neatly stackable blox. Each block has its own window. Each window is fully controllable. Allows individual sizes, window levels, and opacities, and refresh rates. Monitors the following: Total, System, and User CPU load, virtual and physical memory usage, wireless signal, battery, used or free drive space.

This widget looks great, I use it only for showing diskspace free on my various local and network connected drives. Sadly it just doesn't show the right values for the amount of free space. My C drive is wrong, my K and L drives are wrong. Interestingly my I and M drives show the correct value. I'm running Vista 64bit in case that matters.

This widget looks great! The wireless monitor works very well, however the battery monitor seems to stick at 95% (IBM Thinkpad). Is there a fix??

Same as "guest". Also, if you run this with debug window open, there is an error when the "license" is displayed. Exiting the Widget Preferences (not blox) preferences, reports an error. Last , but not least, deleting a "blox" reports a cyclicly appearing error.

You can prevent the cyclic and preference error by "deleting" objects the way "MicroColors" does.

    Otherwise, nice design and idea.

If you choose to delete the only open systemblox, there are no settings to get it back (short of deleting the registry key)

You might need an "if only 1 blox open, don't allow closing it"
