systemDashboard - Wireless meter
The third in the systemDashboard series, this Widget monitors your wireless connection, and returns it as both a percentage and as a series of concentric rings that dim and change color as your signal strengthens and weakens. Inspired by the dashboards of fancy sports cars.

sddemandI have to say I love the look, and function of this meter. I was actually searching for a wireless meter on google, and I came upon the yahoo Widgets. This thing is just sitting on the bottom left side of my moniter sunken, and without mouse interruption or movement and slightly see through. What a great lil Widget!
I wish I could change the colors of the rings to match my desktop!

A LAN version soon?

The only Widgets big enough that I can use on my side activity monitor.
Are you thinking about a non wireless version of this Widget?
With IN out OUT activity report of course.

November 27, 2006 · version 1.6.7 SimonI love this series of widgets, but there is one serious problem with this one (for me, at least). When there is no network, or of W-LAN is turned off, the widget reports a signal strength of 100%. Other wireless meters don't say that. Anyone else with that problem?
