Tea Timer
A simple countdown clock to be used as a cooking- or tea-timer.
You can configure it to display topmost after alert is triggered and can choose your own signal tone.
The time continues to count down after it has reached zero.
It offers a teabag skin or a more abstract display (see the Widget's preferences).

August 30, 2008 · version 1.9can't "unhide" it, can't remove it.
Aristerrible. I clicked the "hide" button so i wouldn't have to see it on desktop again until i needed to use it, and it does not hide, worse yet, I can't activate it back OR remove it. I even tried to reload it from yahoo widgets, no luck. Now it's sitting on my desktop, unable to remove or use it. #$!%!#$%!

AKBJust no good. I tired everything to close it down and it eventually was on the bottom right main bar at bottom of page, called the taskbar. I do not want it there, and it floats if you open it up, and not able to set timer once its open. It does not come with an uninstall option. Had to go to "my computer" "add/remove programs"," remove yahoo widgets."

November 15, 2007 · version 1.9 DieterGreat Widget! One suggestion, though. Could you make the presets editable? There are no presets for green or white tea. If you make them editable everybody could enter his own preferences.

September 28, 2009 · version 1.9 FozOf the timers I tested, none of the others repeated the alarm (not an egg-timer function, but very useful). This one lets you choose your own sound file, so a repeating beep is available if you make one.
The "hide" part of the graphic doesn't do anything, but as with all Yahoo widgets, if you click the horizontal line (the one to the left of the gear icon) the widget will hide.
