Hey there - great widget. It's precisely as simple a solution to OS X's inability to have a nice, simple, clean <i>date</i> along with the day and time. :)

Not sure if your going to see this but I Figured I'd try to tell you anyway. I made a slight change to your widget on my machine and I figured you could use it if you wanted. I'm running Panther and I noticed that the newer_back.png file was set up for Jaguar so I just updated it for panter. I'd be more than happy to send you the file.
