This was not anything I was expecting to find, but it sure is a lot of fun! I wasn't sure, at first, how I'd use your text widget, but, now that I have it, I keep finding things to do with it. So thanks for that.
Can you take a question here? If so, I'd sure like to know how to change the image in the Dock. I thought I'd make a copy of your widget so I'd have 2 of them, and I knew I'd have to give them numbers so the Widget engine wouldn't mix them up--you know, …textPro 1 and textPro 2.
I seem to have lost the Dock images, which is OK, but now I don't have anything but a couple of blanks. I like putting my own images into the Dock elements, just so they'll match the rest of my desktop.
Very beautiful, but I can't understand what it could be used for. It is painstaking to edit the text in the fields, and doesn't seem to have much practical value.
Hi, Ryan, thank you for making this wonderful widget. It took me quite a while to find this widget , since I hadn't used Yahoo widgets for a long time since I last formatted my system; but this one is what I headed straight for when I reinstalled Yahoo widgets.
One thing: I've found that the text alignment thing doesn't work. The texts try to align according to the left border, resulting the middle alignment to cut off half of the texts, and the right alignment to push all the texts… off the widget's display area. I guess that's littlebirdie's problem. Since it's quite a long time since you last updated this widget, my comment may seem to come a bit too late. Maybe I shall try to mod your widget, if I have time, and if you agree to that :)Less
Sorry for the lapse in response and effort on this. Life is busy now, but it sounds like there are a couple people who enjoy this. I will work on it more soon.
littlebirdie, as fas as getting it back, i think you have to find "textPro" in your registry and delete every 'memory' of the widget, then re-download it. hope that helps
