Thesaurus-Dictionary Lookup

This WIdget looks up a word you enter using Thesaurus.com or Dictionary.com.

Version 1.2 is only a visual redesign. If you are happy with the old look, you don't need to download this update

Version 1.21 is only necessary if you are running Konfabulator 1.6

You could have just the text appear on the background, similar to how word of the day displays its definitions, having to open a browser somewhat defeats the purpose.

I thought I might try to automatically search the thesaurus and dictionary and pull the results back into the widget... but the test word I used was "water"... 10 matches in the dictionary and 77 in the thesaurus!! And the thesaurus only returns 10 at a time. So unless anyone has any suggestions, I'll stick to using the browser as the display method.

If you go into the preferences, there is an option to change to a brushed metal background. It's not perfect, but is reasonable. :)

Hi! :)

A very helpful widget... but I find your visual redesign to be a rev or two behind Mac OS X trend towards brushed metal. It would be great if it had the brushed metal look. Does the previous version have a less "Aqua" look? If so, do you have a URL for it?
