THnotes

by Todd Hartman

Yep. It's another notepad Widget.

So, what makes this one special? It supports multiple pages, each of which can have its own color, watermark and title. Each page is stored in a .txt file, so the contents can be edited when the widget isn't open. It can even print the active page by using commandline access to "notepad" or "lp", depending on your platform.

If it is possible, I would like the notepad to have transparency, so that I might see what I am taking notes from.

I think TH notes is probably the best of the notes family widgets, but I am facing the same 100% cpu utilization / system-hang problem referred to by others. Does TH notes work well with any specific Konfabulator release? Please let me know, so I can start using your notes.
    Thanks

While I can not replicate the 100% CPU usage issue, I believe it has to do with a known bug in Konfabulator related to textareas. Since I can't replicate it, I can't test any fixes easily, if there even are any. As to using Korean (or any other 16-bit language), I'll try to look into providing Unicode support soon.

Ouch!! I am having the same problem as user kfg09 reported a few days ago. This widget nearly locks up my PC! It hogs almost all the CPU cycles, the cursor is always an hourglass when hovering over it and it is even difficult shutting down with task manager. This is because the entire system (inc task mgr) bogs down. Task Manager still shows it as a 'running' app. Then, after I 'end task' it, the system returns to normal. I made sure to remove this widget and all its references i More

Hi. This is what I need. Thanks.
But I found a problem when I use Korean, or "2 byte letter". I can't see it when I load a text file which contains 2 byte charactor, while I can type it on a page of THnotes. (But what I typed disappears if I restart my computer. I guess the problem occurs during loading of a text file

I know programing is really tired job, but if you want to improve THnotes and have some time to do then I hope you'd check this problem. Anyway this is good prgm. Thanks again.
