THnotes

Yep. It's another notepad Widget.

So, what makes this one special? It supports multiple pages, each of which can have its own color, watermark and title. Each page is stored in a .txt file, so the contents can be edited when the widget isn't open. It can even print the active page by using commandline access to "notepad" or "lp", depending on your platform.

What am I doing wrong? When I load this one it hangs with an hour glass always present. Can't make the box function and I have to shutdown from my task manager (which does say it is working?).

Same thing happens with Simply Notes. Any answers?

To see page faults open task manager on XP, go to processes and under view choose select columns. Under there you can select the more robust details. The File/Options/Windows/View choices change under each tab and the Processes and Networking choices that are "hidden" really help at times. I can send you a pic if needed. Thanks for the reply and as a work around I have been moving focus. I will try it on another XP machine or two to see if it is just my configuration possibly.

love the widget... but yesterday it wiped clean 2x pages that were open (about 5 where open but it only cleared 2... odd!??!).

other then that no problems.

How are you seeing the page faults? I'm not aware of any applcation that will show that information for me. I also haven't seen any odd behaviour with mine with the exception of one page not loading at one point.

Great widget and the added customization is appreciated. I noticed I get about 50,000 page faults a minute when I am focused on it, regardless if I am typing or not. I am using WinXP Pro, AMD64 3200 and 512mb RAM. Is this what one should expect? (version 1.2 and 1.3b).
