This is a great widget. By far the best notepad. I keep it minimized on my desktop with window topmost so it's always available if I need to write something down. I just wish I could position the notepad better. The left, right, top, bottom options don't do it for me. I would love to see a "user defined" option where I simply drag the icon to my favorite position and then lock it there. I have the same problem with TH calc.

The best notepad widget I've found so far. The default colors are too bold - pastels would be more useful. Cursor positioning is squirrelly - when I click to position the cursor it jumps around. I have to use the keypad to make it go just where I want. Scrollbar also gets about 2 lines longer and shorter. Appears to be having a hard time finding the end of the file or something.

I like the widget, but I wish it were a bit easier to open a new page, particularly when in Konspose. One alteration I would suggest is requiring users to set a default directory for all notes, and give the name the user assigns to the text file. Also, if the file name, as well as the page options could be integrated with the Widget, rather than bringing up a Windows box, it would be a lot easier and faster to create new pages.

CY: I find it very odd that you're seeing it not remember pages, colors and watermarks... as it is certainly supposed to (and does for me). The only things I can think of is that A: it's never calling the preferences saving function... or B: there's some reason Konfabulator can't write into the registry for it.

This is a nice note widget. I love it!
The suggestion I have is to add "Remember page settings" and "automatic load last open pages". Therefore, I don't have to open the notes I took yesterday and alter the settings every time I open this widgets.
