Thumbnailer

Drop image file(s) on the Widget to add thumbnail icons while showing them.

You can also remove the icons by dropping them with option key pressed.

[Editor's note: WARNING this uses the sips command which is a lossy tool. JPEG images will become more compressed and grainy, and PNGs with transparency will lose their alpha channels.]

Unfortunately, yes.
We must wait for Apple to update the sips(Image Events) architecture.

Please test it before actual use.
"Remove" side has no problem.

Question:
when it says "JPEG images will become more compressed and grainy, and PNGs with transparency will lose their alpha channels"... does that mean in the actual image? ot just the thumbnail? If it damages the actual image then that is crazy and makes the widget a tad useless. But surely not...

Launch Thumbnailer.widget and drop your image files on the window. That's all. Thumbnailer 1.0 doesn't work with Konfabulator 1.6. Please use the latest (1.0.1) after reading editor's note above carefully!

It looks really useful...
After reading the name "thumbnailer" and briefly reviewing the description I thought I would be able to put this Widget to use. After downloading it I soon realized I couldn't get it to do anything. I went back to the description and realized I really didn't understand the instructions or the purpose of the widget. If someone could explain the ins and outs of this widget to those of us who "just don't get it" please add your comment.
