Time Ticker

We have seen lots of countdown Widgets. For a change, I present a countup Widget which would track some of your memorable events in the past. It could be time passed since you fell in love or since you got married or since you started your job or since you quit smoking or anything else. This Widget can track upto 5 events.

Now the Widget can countdown as well making it all-in-one counter. Enter a future event date to trigger off the count down.

I can only get the top 2 "timers" to display. If I show all 5, the bottom 3 remain as "Please set time and ....".

Is this a universal bug or just me?

carrie, to run the widget, you need konfabulator installed and running. so please download the same from http://www.konfabulator.com/download, install, run it and then double click the downloaded widget.

I saved the download and now it says my computer wont open it because it doesn't know what program to open it in. what do i do?

~JOSh-X, by the way, if you want to see years, months and days instead of years and days, just click on the event slide. Format is toggable. Every click changes back and to between the two formats.

luizjb, thanks for your feedback. If we take off minutes and seconds, the widget will become lifeless as you will not see any change for an hr which will contradict the widget title 'ticker'. And regarding getting incorrect values for future dates, as said before, this is a count up widget, meaning it will track events in past and not events in future. I will work on an update which will make this widget both count up or down depending on if the date is in past or future.
