I do side work as a seamstress so it helps me figure out how to charge my customers by figuring it up for me. And if I have to go answer the door, move laundry, etc. I just clock out & clock back in when I get back.
Cons: DO NOT MINIMIZE!! if you shrink it down, it will never open back up right. so the little cute arrows... don't click 'em.

Exactly what I was after, very cool!! Much better than the other ones I have seen on here.

Almost exactly what I was looking for! Would like to be able to set the interval update. E.G.: Update every minute, 5 minutes, quarter hour. (Every minute would be great -- don't need to see a second by second update)

As a lawyer, this could be perfect for me to track time and fees together, if a couple things were added:

- I work on many files at the same time, and need to keep them separate (including having a place for a short file name). I currently use http://widgets.yahoo.com/widgets/job-timer to add names for files I'm working on, although I have to press a button to switch between display for each of them. I'm also not all that fond of the design of Job Timer, and would like something more …rectangular to fit nicely in the corner of my screen.
- The layout (although not the look) of http://widgets.yahoo.com/widgets/timer-1 would work well for showing multiple jobs. That timer, however, is very poorly coded, and takes up ridiculous amounts of CPU computing power, making it practically useless.
- While not necessary, as it makes it a little more lawyer-oriented, the timer could round (either during the counting, or when stop is clicked). In the case of lawyers, it would round to the nearest tenth of an hour, or 6-minute increments.
- The "in" and "out" times could be forgone altogether to save space (such as for the inclusion of a file/job name). The total time spent (and value of the work for that time) is really all that is necessary for display.

If we could get the best features of all three of these timers, we could have one very useful timer. More
