Time Vault
Time Vault is a free Widget that will help you keep track of the time you spend on any given task. Click the play button when you start and click it once again when you have finished.
The tasks are grouped by projects and can be viewed by clicking on the arrow button. If you make a mistake, you can edit or delete a task by right-clicking on it.
This Widget works without the need of any external offline or online tool.

November 15, 2007 · version 1.0.13 gpzbcI really like this widget but I often have the need to count down rather than count up. Is it possible to make it act as a simple countdown timer and still keep track of the time for each project?

gpzbc, I'm not sure I will make it act as a countdown as that would almost be a different kind of widget. How would you suggest it should work? There are also specialized countdown timers like this one: http://widgets.yahoo.com/gallery/view.php?widget=41339
