Time Vault

by Laurent Cozic

Time Vault is a free Widget that will help you keep track of the time you spend on any given task. Click the play button when you start and click it once again when you have finished.

The tasks are grouped by projects and can be viewed by clicking on the arrow button. If you make a mistake, you can edit or delete a task by right-clicking on it.

This Widget works without the need of any external offline or online tool.

Sorry I sent the comment below by mistake. So:
    1) yes I will probably add this feature in the next release
    2) I have also been thinking about it but I'm not sure what the best way to implement it. The widget already stores each time entry as "tasks", which can be easily extended so maybe I could just add a "description" field to each of them. If you have any suggestion on how it shoud work feel free to let me know.

Thanks for the feedback. I will think about it as several users asked for that feature. It will probably be an option in the Preference window. What do you mean

    Fantastic!

This is a really slick and useful utility: it will nicely replace a non-Vista-compliant time tracker app I have been using for years and am really going to miss.

    Two requests:

    1) would it be possible to change it ( or have an option) so that if I am tracking time on a project, and select a different project, that it acts as if I had pressed "stop" on the previous project and then start again on the new project?

    2) Would it be possible to introduce the idea of "tasks", whi More

Steve M, yes good idea, I'm going to add some buttons to delete all the tasks or reset the time in the next version.

Laurent, the widget is working great. Really nice design & options. One request though... would it be possible to add a button that would reset project's time to zero? Maybe in the "projects" view right next to the Delete & Edit buttons? Or one button that would clear times for all projects?
I need to keep track of time on a daily basis, and that would be very helpful. To get around it I wrote a small script in *.bat file that is executed on start up, and it basically deletes the More
