I did the mac only version (the latest of which never made it here because I got tired of trying to get a reply from Kon about why they rejected the widget update).
One of the reasons it's mac only is I parse tivo/ui/todo and tivo/nowshowing in a command line shell. If you want to convert the shell scripts to javascript, drop me an email and I'll send you a copy.
One thing I found in my various versions is that the keypad widget takes up a ton of room. I put everything in drawe…rs except the bare minimum (what's showing/recording and play/pause/30 sec skip/8 sec back) in later versions. You may want to consider using drawers to free up screen space before you get too deep into your GUI design.More

Currently, when sending keystrokes, the system doesn't check the response code. I'll try to have an update version that will provide some information regarding the status returned after calling the URL. That may help Matthew and other track when this thing doesn't work as expected.

Sorry to hear this is still not working for you. I am currently using this on my DirecTivo SAT60 running 3.1c of the software and TivoWebPlus 1.0. I do not have it exposed outside my firewall so I have not enabled password protection on the TiVo. You can continue to use the web remote control and it works, right?

Yes, I put my IP address in there. I have it secured and I had to put my userid and password in and it took, so I know it is connected. This seems so cool and I'd really like if I could get it to work.

Hi Matthew. Have you updated the widget's preferences to point to your TiVo? You may need to put your TiVo's IP address in there. - Chuck
