It works you have to RESTART (quit and then launch again) your browser after installing the plugin (the Yahoo! Installer) then you can download the widget. Works on windows and mac. I haven't been able to get it to work via firefox though. Use Safari or Internet Explorer until the Firefox bugs are sorted out.
