Trash Bin Deluxe

A trash bin that allows you to select from a few built-in models or use your own images.

Requires Konfabulator 4 or higher.

NOTE: If you plan to remove the Windows recyle bin from your workspace, use Tweak UI or similiar Windows XP tweaking tool or Vista option. Otherwise, Trash Bin Deluxe may not open system recycle bin.

chuck: you seem to have a bunch of tuning params in the widget now, but yah, it was >120 items of trash contents.

Word of Caution - There is apparently an issue with OS X and deleting of an Alias. If you drag an Alias to a file onto the trash bin, it will remove the file and not the Alias. As of this comment, I'm investigating the issue. Keep track of this and other issues in the Support forum thread (see above).

Mike: i had the same problem just a few minutes ago. It seems the problems happens when the trash bin is full. Indeed it takes a long time to read every file in order to compute the size of the whole (i think).
I also found out that enabling or not the size label didn't changed anything :(
I thought i had to rollback to the system trash, it really frightened me :P
At last, i realized that emptying the bin was a better solution :)
