This is a Twitter client which allows you to update your status and list the timeline of your friends' tweets, replies, and direct messages. It also provides some useful settings as well as keyboard support.

Doesn't resize and isn't really too customizable, but it does what you need - displays your recent twitter messages (tweets) and lets you post yours!
For those wondering about the update, you can obtain it via the authors website, although it is in japanese. The URL he has the updated hosted at is http://thinkpad.s30.xrea.com/tmp/Twitter_client.widget

Update links to Japanese page; where do we get update?
@nericksx same here, I'm notified of an update each day, but it links to the author's Japanese page, and I can't make sense of the page. Anyone know which link to click to download the updated widget? Isn't there some way to convert a page to another language via Google? Any tip greatly appreciated.

too small, hard to read, limited sizing options
I imagine this looks fine on 1024x768 resolution... but the design is a little 2002 with everything being so tiny... so far the best twitter widget is over on Google Desktop... run 'em both and get the best of both worlds...

Lesser of three evils. Like... purgatory.
It's the best of the limited choices, but the aforementioned endless repeat of the last post is a major hangup. The update linked in rustwork's review solves the update window (I'm not sure what it updates since the most glaring flaw is still there. Can't wait for an update to fix that. :D

NetWork GrahamThe Mac version seems to have broken. It endlessly repeats the last entry, and the DM and Replies buttons have stopped working. It also keeps on about an update but this is also not working. This was the best and most useful widget I had found, but it now doesn't work.
