This is an awesome widget, and is the best word of the day one available! But to be honest, dictionary.com is my favorite source of word of the day, and it would be even more awesome if it was working on here! I still go to dictionary.com to get their word of the day on top of seeing the yahoo one, so I am anxious to have it working on the widget sometime soon!

Remember, even if the Dictionary.com source is broken, there are still four other sources that you can use.

Dictionary.com has changed it's webpage - they gave it a new look, so the code that the widget uses to "read" the page now fails.

For now, you'll just have to uncheck Dictionary.com from the list of available sources. I regret to say that I do not have time to maintain this widget anymore. For one, I've switched to Linux, and Yahoo! Widgets doesn't run on Linux. (There are other widget engines for Linux.) Secondly, I'm extremely busy with …my senior year, and don't have the time to work on this project.

However, all that needs to be done to fix it is change the regular expressions used to parse the Dictionary.com site. Anyone who has the inclination to fix it and knows a little about regular expressions could do it without too much trouble, I believe. I'll gladly update the widget is someone sends me the code changes, but otherwise, I'm afraid that this widget is abandonware. (At least for a while.)

Same problem as John Land. Dictionary.com fails to load. This has been occurring for some time. I've tried to re download but same thing happens. I have the latest version, 3.1.
