Gail - I can't imagine what could be asking you for a password. :-/ Try downloading it again. (Or try downloading other widgets to see if your problem happens during ANY download.)

I love this widget! But I tried to download the update and it keeps asking me for a password. Maybe I'm not doing this correctly?

All - I'm pretty busy now that the schoolyear has really started to pick up, and I'll be on a FIRST Robotics team this year and may not have much time to work on the widget in between everything else that needs to get done. So forgive me if not a lot happens on the widget for a while.

Also to all - Is anyone else having trouble with the Merriam-Webster WOTD displaying…? It seems to not work every other day, and I haven't been able to figure out why. I wondered if maybe this was just caused by lag, and it worked on everybody else's computers. More

Werewolf TA - Glad to hear it's helping you! If I get time, I'll add a preference that lets you skip particular dictionaries (like Urban Dictionary in your case) if you don't want them.

Patrick - I know it's kind of big, but I'd really hoped that the "mini-mode" (double-clicking it) would satisfy the need to have it smaller. Currently, the only easy way to get wrapping text (for the definitions) is to use the text-box object, which wo…uld look rather silly in a non-graphical version. If someone is willing to develop a simpler skin, I'd be happy to include it in the code. Keep in mind though, that the smaller you make it, the more you would have to scroll in the definitions.

David in KC - I don't know, but my guess would be that if it works on later versions of Mac OS but not on earlier versions, it probably is not compatible. (Probably because of the derned text-box... it wreaks havoc on Win2K, I know.) More
