I have used this widget for more than a year now. The latest version has a problem with tracking UPS packages. Each additional tracking entry creates a 'black' entry on the Tracker display. One time I saw it made an entry and it was way at the bottom of the dialog - but it was the only one visible.

For everything besides UPS, this widget is a dream. The only suggestions I would have is to allow the status colors/icons to be changable. I'm one of the 10% of the population that is col…or deficient and for some reason the colors that are used with this program are undecipherable to me. Mostly the yellow and greens look alike. Wish there was a different icon for each status rather than colors. Or choosing intense versus the pastel-ish colors that are used. I still use it though because I can double click to get the detailed status that shows me where each items stands - well, that is, except for UPS items.

Indicator went from orange to blue (instead of orange to yellow) when the package status changed to "processed."

Please fix this widget! I use it every day and I'm so sad that UPS tracking no longer works!

This is a cool widget. We are using it at work with good success I have not heard about anything not working - has the comments below all been fixed?

New Idea - Create one just like this for LTL shipments. This would be for LTL shippers like Yellow, Roadway, Old Dominion, ABF, Viking, Conway, and perhaps allow for others to be added. These shippers use a tracking number called a "pro" numbers.

As-is, this widget does track shipments and gives detailed information when you double click on a listing. I guess what I personally am looking for is a program that does "at-a-glance" tracking where I can see the progress of my packages visually on my desktop without having to click things. I might as well click the tracking link in my order email and get the entire details if I am going to be clicking things.

Wouldn't it be great if the information provided was something like …this:
O Example1 In Transit, Departed Jacksonville, FL Wed 7/9/08 7:05pm
O Example2 Delivered, signed by J Doe, Mon 7/7/08 12:45pm
O Example3 Not yet picked up by carrier, Wed 7/9/08 10:45pm

Especially with the automatic updating that is already built into the program, you could watch multiple packages through the course of their delivery just by glancing at the screen. This would make the program dramatically more useful. Also an option to sort listings by delivery status instead of by carrier would be useful. I found some of the status circle color combinations are difficult to determine; simply not coloring the background around the colored circle would solve that.

I like the other features of the program such as automatic updating and the numerous delivery services supported. More
