Per request, I have just put my "fixed" version on my server for public access:
ftp://www.galaxypc.net/voipGauge.widget
I don't want to post it to the widget gallery until the author has had an opportunity to update it himself, but this should get you running again.

Hey Russ, I went to your link and found the code you say helps fix the voipgauge, but i do not know how to enter that code into the program. Could you please help me? Thank you.

Toolio, I have the same problem, but I still get my message waiting notification. I sent a e-mail to Martin K. and he said that it is a issue with the carrier's side. I have not heard anything more yet. I hope the problem gets fixed because I love this widget. It will be a shame if it does not get fixed.
