Volume Bar

This simple Widget controls provides an easy way to quickly adjust or mute the system volume. The Widget now includes options for both horizontal and vertical layouts and an option to customize the look of the bar by colorizing it. The bar has been made more responsive to external volume changes and the percentage meter now updates in real time.

doesn't work anymore
Sorry, dude, but all of a sudden the slider won't slide. The mute works (turning speaker on and off), and it can shift between horizontal and vertical, but otherwise, just a colorful bar on the desktop. I also tried downloading the newer version, still no. Oh well, on to something else

Can't install this widget.. Looks for C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\{4ECB65B0-61A1-459F-8896-88A2F86000F4}\ which doesn't exist.

What I really want is a mic volume control. That is something you need to tweek all the time, but you really have to dig to get at it.
