I love the design. Truly a looker on XP silver. Love the customization, especially the vertical option, it is super!.

However, it needs something that lots of widgets have, a size option especially for the number indicator. It is a little bit on the small side.

And one more thing, it would be incredible if you could add a mouse scrollwheel control. Not sure if that is do-able or in your range.

At last, someone made an excellent volume control!
It looks brilliant with my silver win XP style.
It just needs color customization and X,Y size customization.

It would be nice if it played a beep or a wav file when you changed the volume so you could hear how loud it actually is,( just in case you are not listening to one of my gold records while moving the slider). Thank you, thank you very much...

A really nice widget! If you could add a couple more controls with mute it would be great. A control for the microphone volume and a control for the line in level.

This was my first widget that was worth publishing to the widget community. For future widgets, if I plan to borrow code and/or images from someone else's work, I intend to communicate with the owner of the original widget. (Sorry about that, Joel)

Anyway, thankyou everyone for the feedback. I don't think it will be too much work to give the widget a vertical option, and I agree that a customizable look would help the widget fit onto a broader range of desktops. This was basically m…y first widget, so I designed it for myself and then figured, what the heck, I'll post it online.

I'm nearly finished with my second widget which will be similar in style to the Battery widget included with Konfabulator but with a lot more options and customization.
