thanks for the feedback lhgreene! I had no idea it didn't work in Vista, but i will try to get some testing going. I wonder if it is a Y!W issue though since it is their coding sequence of how to call the volume. Again, thanks for the feedback.

Sorry Ryan - I loved this widget and had been using it all the time - till I got a new computer with Windows Vista installed. Neither the original VolumeXP version nor the newer volumePro works on the Vista OS. Apparently Vista has an entirely different audio interface than previous Windows - it now lets different applications have different volume levels. But apps like volumePro don't work at all - while volumePro's graphics change when you try to use it, it has absolutely no effect on sound volume, muting, etc. Sure wish you'd develop a new one that works in Vista.

NOTE: As of today, the gallery images are not showing the new graphics, though they are minor.

Excellent widget, best volume controller there is. 10/10 :-)

Can't get better than this for volume bars, can't believe I overlooked it first of all! I guess the picture was a little deceiving, there's also another option to have the volume as a bar instead.
