Nice little widget! But...
If the Desktop in windows is set to "Active Desktop" (without showing icons in it) the widget doesnt change wallpaper. It only does it in "normal desktop" mode...
any idea to fix this?

I love this; I'd give it 4 stars except for two problems. Running on Windows XP, I'm seeing it eat 3-5% of my CPU, so it looks like it needs a sleep and maybe some code to prevent doing much work if a wallpaper switch isn't necessary. The other problem is that even if I set the key to None, it is still trapping c-N which interferes with other applications like Word.

Great widget! I'm sorry to say I'm not running it due to these problems, and I miss it!

I was looking for a wallpaper randomizer, similar to Webshots, but without the net "hooks" there. Was laready running Konfabulator, and thought there would be a widget. This basically does what I want it to do, but what I'd really like to see is the ability to point it to a directory. For instance, I have My Pictures/Photos as well as My Pictures/aircraft and My Pictures/CG Art. If I could tell it to pull a random image from, say, My Pictures/Photos during certain hours, and My Pictures/aircraft during other hours, that would be really cool.
