This Widget allows its user to keep tabs on any image URL put into it. It's ideal for looking at images updated dynamically, such as webcams or traffic cameras. You can check out the Eiffel Tower or Times Square up to the minute if you want!

MerlinNo and Yes! It cannot display Flash movies in its main window frame, but it will start up an application, such as RealPlayer, to play a Flash Movie. You could also try our KonAVio Widget which will play (many) Flash movies.

RossI've updated to the latest version of webimages and upon closing and restarting Widget engine each time, it doesn't seem to keep the place on screen where I want the widget to be. It just restarts in the middle of the screen.
I seem to recall a similar problem a couple of years back.
Is this a known bug with this new version or is there a problem at my end?

Anchor Points
MerlinRoss - I don't use Windows, but, on the Macintosh with WebImages 3.6.1 and Yahoo! Widgets 4.5.1x10A39, the anchor point behavior appears to be correct on closing and re-opening Widgets, and also on closing and re-starting the Widget Engine. On Windows, exactly the same code is used as on the Macintosh.
You could try closing the Widget and re-opening it while the Widget Engine is running to see if that works. Try with anchor points other than "None" - "None" leaves the po… More

RossSetting the anchor points to settings other than 'none' as you suggest works but only on my first monitor:
I usually have 4 instances of webimages running on my second monitor and up until the update it was working fine. They would restart where I left them. Even when dragged over and set for 'top left of screen' etc they just reappear on my main monitor.
Maybe if there was a 'user set' anchor point selection coded into the widget itself that might work? (even though as you say, widget engine should do that by itself)

MerlinRoss: On the Macintosh, with a second screen, I get correct behavior using the "XXX of Image" anchor settings. The "XXX of Screen" settings always revert (as I would expect) to the main screen. Konfabulator does not explicitly support more than one screen, so I can't find out about other screens. Version 3.4 of WebImages treated "None" the same as "Top Left of Image", version 3.6.x leaves "None" to the Widget Engine.
What happens if you use the "Top Left of Image" setting?
