Widget Converter

Are you a Widget developer? Do different Widget formats have you down? This Widget will end your misery.
Widget Converter will take a Widget which runs in the Yahoo! Widget Engine and convert it into a Widget format of your choosing, be it a folder, a zipped Widget, or the latest flat Widget format. As a bonus, it will clean up your Widget a bit in the conversion process!
Note that this Widget is a developer tool, and it is not written for converting similar accessory applications for other runtime environments to work with the Yahoo! Widget Engine.

November 15, 2007 · version 2.6 JeffI am about to save some of you a lot of f-ing grief.
For those of you getting the "Your folder has been successfully converted..." message but seeing no resulting widget flat file, try using Windows (or a Mac utility) to delete all invisible files (thumbs.db, .DS_store, and any ._ files) before converting.
After doing this, it actually worked... Would have been nice if there was some documentation or a more helpful error message telling me about this.

November 15, 2007 · version 2.6 小勉I have the same problem. This widget tells " Your Flattened Widget has been successfully converted into a folder named Yahoo! Weather. ". Where was it? I searched all of my folders and found nothing. Any suggestion to solve this?

drag and drop the widget file "Yahoo weather" then
press Convert then
messagebox " Your Flattened Widget has been successfully converted into a folder named Yahoo! Weather. "
but
this folder is not existing ...
Can Mr. Author tell me where is the folder ?

November 15, 2007 · version 2.6 oldgraycatdaddyI have an intel macbook on which I also run Windows XP using Parallels. In Mac OS, the widget converter will convert a widget to a folder, and it will convert a folder to a zipped widget, which then does not run. However, it reports success in creating a flat file widget which apparently exists only in someone's fevered imagination. I certainly can't find it anywhere on my computer!
