How about someone making a yahoo Widget / sidebar gadget so we can see are upto date PS3 trophies and see what friends are online and what game they are playing thanx

Bought it but cannot open it - no software to open a .widget file. then ofund out you need to know java script - is there anyone that can help? Thanks.

Merlin, you are the best darn Widget builder ever!

If anybody but you had made a Widget-making Widget, well, I'd have been eager to see it, but I'd not have expected much. This has got to be one of the most potentially conceptually-challenging Widgets ever. So hats off to you for accepting the challenge.

And don't you know that this is going to be one of the handiest darn Widgets ever.

I also can't help but think that--knowing the kind of work you do, Merlin--in another coup…le of years, this thing may morph into a dream machine that'll do everything with no effort at all from the humanoid end!

Anyway, thanks a LOT for this one.

Users still have to create images and write the JavaScript code needed to provide the Widget's functionality." - It clearly states that you need some knowledge of javascript to create widgets with it. You cannot go around giving 1 star ratings before you know how something works, or not going any farther than expecting it to work for you.

Pointless. Unless you know Java Script -- it's pretty much pointless. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with it. Junk.
