Widget Maker is a construction tool for Yahoo! Widgets.
A form-filling interface is provided to assist in the generation of the XML script of a Widget. Users still have to create images and write the JavaScript code needed to provide the Widget's functionality.

MerlinThere is a Tutorial pdf at the "Create Widgets" link (above). This teaches the basics of building Yahoo! Widgets.
Widget Maker is designed for users who have already built a few Widgets themselves. It provides a form-filling interface to assist in the generation of the XML script of a Widget. Users still have to create images and write the JavaScript code needed to provide the Widget's functionality.
The Widget does have a small help file, but that describes how to use the Widget, not how to design Widgets.

GirishSBought it but cannot open it - no software to open a .widget file. then ofund out you need to know java script - is there anyone that can help? Thanks.
