Widget Media Player

Windows Media Player in a Widget!
Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX), best if you have a stocked and reasonably well organised media library but not essential as will add dropped files to library.

Have tested on W2KproSP4/WMP9 & WXPhomeSP2/WMP10.

Open the info panel to access your media library, enter a search term and click on button to search either songs, artists or albums.

Accepts dropped files/URLs (WMA/MP3/CDA/ASX), so either CD audio tracks, radio stations, or folders containing valid media items and adds valid items to your media library.

How do you get it to play? I opened the libarary tab and it shows all of my songs, but I can't figure out how to play them. the titles scroll back and forth. I love the way it looks. Please help.

great work however i would have liked to see more color/skin options. That and it take up alot of system resources and cpu process.

Great little widget the only thing missing is support for .m3u playlists other than that it is near perfect

To clarify - I have a folder with loads of files in and on playlist 'various.m3u' - would be nice to select that playlist. Thanks.

Great stuff! What would make it perfect for me would be the abillity to select playlists (.m3u) as not all my files have accurate ID3 information. Other than that - nice work!
