Widget Media Player

Windows Media Player in a Widget!
Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX), best if you have a stocked and reasonably well organised media library but not essential as will add dropped files to library.

Have tested on W2KproSP4/WMP9 & WXPhomeSP2/WMP10.

Open the info panel to access your media library, enter a search term and click on button to search either songs, artists or albums.

Accepts dropped files/URLs (WMA/MP3/CDA/ASX), so either CD audio tracks, radio stations, or folders containing valid media items and adds valid items to your media library.

other than getting rid of the library window while keeping artist/track, it is perfect! once I can see artist/track info withut library window it will be perfect. I love it, very nice gui too.

p - not sure what the problem is there - have you toggled the loop-play button on/off?
steve - how about windows media player proper? does that hog the CPU as well?
allen & justin - yes, point taken re the library window, have worked that into for the next update.

Nice work! *But*, would love to have the top info bar (artist / track) without having that big, separate box that pops up. Would love to be able to hide the separate box -- hope that is a preference someday.
