it doesn't work on the new yahoo widget engine... :-( and i just posted my first widget... (fuzzyclock2) id no. 37943.

the widget doesn't even open. the computer acts like it's opening, and then nothing happens... i unzipped and turned on debug, tried it, and still nothing! please let me know!

Ok, found the problem (with v1.1), it happens when looking at a widget without any comment.
Data returned from the extractNumberOfComments function gives a NULL instead of a "0". Hope this helps! :)

Laurent, v1.1 works fine with all my widgets but one: 37803. It works flawlessly with v1.0. Haven't tried to dig in the code yet ;)

Nice widget. I already wanted to make one of my own for that purpose when I found yours.

A few suggestions:
- When I wake my laptop, I have to set prefs to get it to work/update. Maybe put a net access check or delay? (I think The Weather widget does this)
- Add a simple, transparent background (maybe even set the opacity in prefs for those who don't want any).
- Add a "spot" on the bg to launch the browser (that way, grabbing the text or bg itself, you could move the widget without the Ctl key)
- Add tooltip with the widget&#…39;s name that you're tracking (when I have more than one of these displayed, I can hover to tell which is which).
I'd be glad to help with any of these suggestions! More
