WidgetSwitcher is a combination Widget and Mac OS X application that enhances the Yahoo! Widget Engine by allowing switching between any number of sets of Yahoo! Widgets.

I'd suggest you look at The Widgets Widget as well, which allows Widget groups without messing with preferences and doesn't require restarting Y!WE when you switch sets, but currently The Widgets Widget is broken on Mac OS because of a bug in Y!WE 4 which hasn't been fixed yet.

November 25, 2006 · version 1.3 Brendan BellinaI've submitted an update to The Widgets Widget to the gallery. The version, now v2.2, is also available at my website. The great advantage of this over WidgetSwitcher is that it is cross-platform, so if you are using both a Mac and Windows then you can launch Widget sets/groups with the same Widget.

November 20, 2006 · version 1.3 Brendan BellinaPeople interested in managing groups of Widgets should also take a look at The Widgets Widget. The version in the gallery (1.2.2) hasn't been updated since 2005 and is not compatible with Y!WE 2.x or later or Tiger, but I have updated it and added a number of enhancements to it as well as testing it with Y!WE 3.1.5 on Panther and Tiger.
