hi,
haven't used it yet (thus i can't rate it).
but i could image an added feature that would help us non-native speakers a lot: a "voice interface", i.e. an option the computer could read the word, thus giving an impression of the right pronounciation. just think of the difference between "inviteable" and "inevitable" - which may seem obvious for a nativespeaker, but pretty hard on us foreigners.
dunno how it could be implemented in a widget, but i've …seen it on websites such as h++p://www.bartleby.com/61/20/I0122000.html or h++p://www.answers.com/inevitableMore

I really like this widget. the customizable colors and size are great. it's also nice and simplistic. The ultimate WOTD was waaay to big and took up almost a quarter of my screen, and the coffee stains on the yahoo one were wierd.

Hi, I am using this widget on MacOS. If you choose "Wordsmith.org", it just return "null" as word of the day... "Dictionary.com" works fine.
How can this be fixed?
Moreover, how can one add additional word-of-the-day websites?
Could this also be used for quotations?
Thanks & Best, Whizzy

Hi,
I noticed that the word does not change automatically after a day has passed. I have to re-run the widget or change the source from Dictionary.com to WordSmith (or vice versa) to refresh the word. (Note: I don't restart my PC every day.)
Other than the not-refreshing everyday thing, it is a real great widget... and thanks for it.
