Yeah, why do I see all this other text when I use the dictionary.com with the widget. And the wordsmith.com option doesn't even have a pronunciation. Anywone know a better widget to use?

I figured I would add my bit of info. I changed Jon's '</blockquote>' to '</cite>' and this conveniently collects only one sentence from the list of uses.

Sorry, Jon's work around works quite well. I may try to pare down some of the sentences it displays. Thanks alot for that fix, Jon.

I was wondering if someone could post a patch to the dictionary.com output. The output string contains alot of unnecessary info, such as HTML and Javascript along with "ADVERTISEMENT" and navigation links. With these removed, this would be a great widget.

Robert: Spoke too soon ... I decided to have another go at folding the text output to a number of characters and I have an update to your widget that allows the user to specify a maximum number of characters per line.
No doubt you can figure this out yourself, but if you want the Zip file, feel free to contact me at figsandfudge.com (username before the '@host' is my first name).
