But those wordsmith words are worthless! I say either get dictionary.com, merriam-webster (the only other two I know about) or manually program in a list of 1000 words or so.

Seems to work, but gets lost under/over the white background of my Finder windows. When I first ran this, I thought it had crashed b/c I couldn't see it. Exposé let me know that it was working just fine, but there's no way to set the color of the text.

Also, I ended opening about a dozen browser windows just trying to position the thing. Even Command+Drag doesn't want to move the Widget unless the Widget has focus, but clicking on the Widget opens a browser window! Turn this off or add a pref!

Interesting. I'll start a thread on the forums... for the moving part, I know it's not widespread knowledge, but you'll have to use apple + drag to move it. I'll use the thread to make it widespread knowledge.

Splendid idea! Unfortunately, it won't move and it only displays the word without the definition.
